Clients can choose between abstinence and harm reduction options

In the Recovery Program at Project Hospitality, clients can choose between two approaches to treatment (abstinence and harm reduction) and switch between them as their goals evolve. Clients participate in recovery decisions and choose the approach that best fits their current needs.

Outpatient treatment with multiple levels of support

MAT for both opioid and alcohol use disorders are offered alongside individual counseling and group therapy. Clients can participate in regular outpatient, intensive outpatient, and medication-focused outpatient care so that they can continue to live at home while in treatment.

Specialty tracks help address common challenges

Specialty services are available to address behavioral and relationship challenges that can affect recovery. These include a Significant Other Track (where loved ones participate in treatment), support for parenting challenges, anger management, and DUI assessments. Clients who are balancing recovery with family responsibilities or legal obligations may find these services particularly helpful.

Support with practical needs

In addition to the Recovery Program, Project Hospitality offers services to help clients address more practical needs, including housing, employment counseling, and transportation assistance. These services can help clients rebuild stability while in outpatient treatment. Additional support includes assistance obtaining social services, outcome follow-up, and peer mentoring.

Complementary services to help those with complex needs

The outpatient addiction treatment program is part of a broader continuum of services to support people with complex needs. Clients can also access HIV services as well as housing and vocational support. Care is provided by a multidisciplinary treatment team (including physicians, addiction counselors, social workers, mental health counselors, and certified recovery peers) to offer comprehensive support to clients with significant social service needs or complex mental health conditions.
