24/7 Acute Detox That Focuses on Safe Stabilization

Whatcom Community Detox provides 24/7 residential detox for adults who need medically supervised support while withdrawing from alcohol and other drugs, including opioids and stimulants. The program is designed for short stays — often 3–7 days — so clients can stabilize in a monitored setting and take the next step with a clearer plan.

Medical Support, Testing, and Medications for Addiction Treatment (MAT)

Clients receive a comprehensive substance use assessment and medical screening, with services that can include physical exams and drug and alcohol testing. The facility also offers medications for addiction treatment (MAT) and routinely used withdrawal medications, supporting both alcohol and opioid detox needs.
