What to expect

Developing your care plan

• Initial assessment: The treatment team conducts initial assessments, develops treatment plans, and provides counseling. Licensed providers make referrals and recommendations based on client needs.

• Drug Court intensive outpatient program: The Drug Court IOP is designed for those in the criminal justice system because of substance use. It is a structured, yearlong, three-phase program that combines counseling, court supervision, and frequent drug testing.

Who you will meet with

• Counselors: Work with clients in individual and group counseling and help address vocational, educational, legal, psychological, and interpersonal concerns.
• Specialized providers: Licensed providers make treatment recommendations and referrals and offer support for substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns.
• Drug Court-trained treatment team: Supports clients completing court-supervised treatment.

Typical schedule

• Residential schedule: Residential programming includes group and individual counseling sessions, psychoeducational seminars, vocational development, support groups, relapse prevention, and leisure activities.
• The intensive outpatient program: In the IOP, clients attend about 9 hours of group therapy per week, with 3-hour sessions 3 times weekly. Morning groups are offered Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Evening groups are offered Monday through Friday, from 5 to 10 p.m.
