Johnson County Mental Health Center
Overview
Outpatient mental health and substance use care for adults and adolescents with crisis support and same-day walk-ins. The community-oriented center provides trauma-informed individual, group, and family counseling, including evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Mobile crisis units are available to assist clients across the county who cannot travel to the center. Clinicians can prescribe both psychiatric medications and medications for addiction treatment (MAT) when appropriate. Certified Peer Specialists offer mentorship and guidance, and a vocational team facilitates employment coaching and career development services. This facility accepts private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE, other state-funded insurance, and self-pay. A sliding fee scale is available.
