Brockton Addiction Treatment Center

Brockton Addiction Treatment Center provides residential care for men and individuals identifying as male through Acute Treatment Services (ATS), Clinical Stabilization Services (CSS), and a Section 35 unit. By combining voluntary admissions, court-ordered treatment, withdrawal support, and continued stabilization in one location, the program offers a more continuous path through early recovery.
24-Hour Medical and Psychiatric Support
Care is delivered in a physician-directed setting with 24-hour nursing, psychiatric services, licensed counselors, and case managers. Medications for addiction treatment (MAT), including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone, are available to support withdrawal and ongoing treatment. Patients on methadone maintenance can continue methadone therapy while detoxing from other substances, adding flexibility for people with more complex treatment needs.
Daily Recovery Structure with Counseling and Peer Support
Treatment includes individual counseling, group counseling, psychoeducational groups, 12-step education, relapse prevention, coping-skills workshops, and opioid overdose prevention education. Daily onsite AA and NA meetings help create routine and peer connection during treatment. Family support and education are also part of the program, giving patients and their loved ones a stronger foundation for the next stage of recovery.
Practical Skills for Life After Residential Care
Beyond withdrawal management and counseling, the program includes life skills training, vocational services, aftercare planning, and referrals to outside mental health resources after discharge. Brockton Addiction Treatment Center also serves people with recent housing instability, reflecting a practical focus on recovery in the context of daily life. As part of High Point Treatment Center’s nonprofit network, the program is connected to a broader continuum of behavioral health services that can support ongoing care.
