Full continuum of substance use treatment

Care plans are designed to meet clients where they are in their recovery. Treatment can begin with medical withdrawal management (detox) when needed, where 24/7 supervision and medications for addiction treatment (MAT) help safely manage withdrawal symptoms and cravings. Clients can then transition to residential rehab with daily therapy, evidence-based group counseling, and recreational activities. Step-down outpatient programs, including partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP), allow clients to receive therapeutic support while attending to work, education, family, and other daily responsibilities.

Co-occurring mental health care

Substance use and mental health challenges are often closely connected. At Recovery Village Kansas City, co-occurring mental health treatment addresses both concerns at the same time, helping to reduce the risk of relapse and supporting long-term stability. Treatment for primary mental health conditions is also offered. Clients receive individualized therapy, medication management when appropriate, and support through group and family sessions.
