Women-Only Residential Care in a Quiet Country Setting

Kisa Life Recovery is a women-only residential program created for women who want space away from daily pressures to focus on recovery. The center is women-owned and operated, with a home-like layout that supports both privacy and connection. Outside, clients have room to step away, reset, and spend time in nature between scheduled programming.

Trauma-Aware Counseling

The program is built for women navigating alcohol or drug use alongside trauma. Care can include individual counseling, group therapy, and family counseling, plus trauma-related counseling and substance use education. Treatment approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, contingency management/motivational incentives, Matrix Model, 12-step facilitation, and relapse prevention, giving clients multiple ways to build coping skills and stability.

A Structured Routine with Practical Life Skills and Case Support

Kisa combines clinical counseling with day-to-day support that can matter after discharge. Clients can receive case management, assessments and referrals, and life skills therapy. Recovery support services also include help accessing social services and employment counseling or training, which can be especially useful for women rebuilding routines, responsibilities, and next steps after residential treatment.

Daily Living That Supports Rest, Nutrition, and Movement

Living arrangements are shared, with dual-occupancy bedrooms/bathrooms, along with personal storage such as a locker. Meals are provided on site, with snacks available throughout the day, plus coffee, tea, and fruit-infused water. The daily schedule includes structured programming and optional evening activities such as yoga, hiking, movies, and other recreation, along with access to laundry.

Who They Serve and Medication Logistics

Kisa serves women across a range of life stages, including young adults, seniors, and pregnant or postpartum women, as well as women involved with the criminal justice system and those who have experienced domestic violence, sexual abuse, or other trauma. The facility does not offer transportation assistance. Detox is not offered on site, and the program may accept clients who use medications for addiction treatment (MAT) when those medications are prescribed elsewhere.
