Tiered Residential Treatment That Adapts to Progress
Beacons of Hope offers a four-phase residential program that adjusts to each client’s pace in recovery. Beginning with 24/7 medically monitored detox, the program gradually reduces in intensity. Clinical group therapy, individual therapy, and peer support are integrated at every phase, with structured activity ranging from 8 to 14 hours a day. Clients can remain in care for up to 120 days—especially beneficial for those navigating legal obligations or chronic relapse.
Life Skills Training with Tangible Daily Impact
A standout feature of the program is its Intensive Living Skills curriculum, which equips clients with practical tools for navigating everyday life. Topics include communication, parenting, decision-making, goal-setting, and values, and the curriculum incorporates “Nurturing Parenting” education to help rebuild family roles and routines. By targeting the skills that affect employment, relationships, and home life, Beacons of Hope helps clients move beyond short-term recovery toward lasting personal stability.
Closing the Gaps to Treatment
The facility goes beyond traditional therapy by removing barriers that often disrupt recovery. Transportation is provided for appointments, and clients can access emergency clothing, hygiene items, and survival kits if they’re unhoused. On-site supports like resume help, GED prep, and a job search computer lab help people rebuild economic stability. These services make the program especially accessible for individuals managing income disparity, housing instability, or the justice system—including those referred through Casey’s Law.
Community-Driven and Regionally Rooted Care
Beacons of Hope is grounded in its commitment to Eastern Kentucky. Staff know the communities they serve and design care plans that reflect local realities. With a focus on dignity and accountability, the program treats clients as individuals and neighbors—not numbers.
