Small Residential Houses, Outdoor-Focused Setting

YSS Ember Recovery - Beran provides 24-hour residential substance use treatment in two residential houses designed to feel personal. The setting includes outdoor space that supports wellness, with access to walking paths and recreational areas as part of daily life during treatment.

Evidence-Based Counseling for Substance Use

Treatment includes substance use disorder counseling and structured therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, contingency management, relapse prevention, brief intervention, trauma-related counseling, and 12-step facilitation. Individual, group, and family counseling are available to support progress during residential care.

Support for Co-Occurring Mental Health Needs

For clients who need both substance use and mental health support, the program offers integrated services for co-occurring concerns. This can be especially important for younger clients who are navigating emotional or behavioral health challenges alongside substance use.

Medication Coordination, Withdrawal Management Support

The program accepts clients who use medications for addiction treatment (MAT) when those medications are prescribed through an outside provider. Services also include withdrawal management (detox) using medications such as clonidine, based on clinical need and individualized planning.

Step-Down Planning, Skills, Recovery Supports

Discharge planning and aftercare help clients plan next steps after residential treatment. Support services include life skills development, vocational or educational support, mentoring or peer support, employment counseling or training, housing-related services, and help connecting to social services, supporting a more stable transition back into daily life.
