Addiction Recovery in a Supportive, Rural Setting
Depending on their needs, clients can move from detox into either a high-intensity (28-day) or longer-term (90-day) residential stay, with the option to step down into day treatment (PHP) or intensive outpatient care (IOP). The center offers a calm, retreat-like setting that removes clients from everyday triggers. Staff provide 24/7 support while encouraging independence and accountability. The setting allows clients to start building a healthier routine within a strong, recovery-focused community.
12-Step Focus and Peer-Driven Community
The center integrates 12-step facilitation into its treatment model, encouraging clients to actively participate in meetings and begin working the steps during care. Group sessions foster peer support, helping clients build meaningful connections. After completing treatment, alumni are invited back for monthly gatherings, reinforcing long-term accountability and mentorship. This peer-driven approach helps clients develop lasting social ties for continued recovery.
Family Therapy and Involvement
Weekly family group sessions are offered to help loved ones rebuild trust, improve communication, and receive education about the recovery process. On the third Saturday of each month, the center also hosts a Family Alumni Group open to families of current and past clients to encourage ongoing connection and shared learning. These programs are designed to help families heal together for the mutual benefit of everyone involved.
Case Management and Life Skills Training
Hands-on case management is provided to help clients navigate real-world challenges during and after treatment. Staff can assist with housing, employment resources, and access to community services as needed. Life skills training is woven into programming and includes communication skills, boundary setting, time management, and relapse prevention planning. Clients are also supported in developing coping strategies and setting achievable goals.
Client Reviews
Feedback from clients and family members reflects a range of experiences. Many describe the program as life-changing and credit the staff—particularly those with lived experience—for offering relatable and compassionate care. Positive themes include a sense of community, supportive sober living, and strong peer connections.
