Oregon Trail Recovery approaches drug and alcohol treatment to best align men’s and women’s unique needs and challenges. The gender-specific programming and sober living residences allow space for women to recover in a supportive environment of peers, while men can find space to express emotion without judgment. Outdoor activities offer clients the opportunity to engage with Oregon’s surrounding natural beauty, from Mt. Hood to the Oregon Coast. Both Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) utilize individual therapy and group therapy sessions, support groups, 12-Step meetings, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), family therapy, and the development and maintenance of life skills to support clients’ long-term recovery.
