Safe Residential Care for Families
The center provides a structured, 24/7 residential program with separate accommodations for men and women. As part of women’s residential care, children may live on-site with their mothers, helping families remain together during recovery. The setting emphasizes safety, stability, and the chance to rebuild healthy daily routines.
Trauma-Informed Treatment and MAT
Treatment combines evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-related counseling with access to medications for addiction treatment (MAT) for opioid and alcohol use disorder. Care is adapted to each client’s needs through both individual and group sessions, relapse-prevention strategies, and connections to peer support and 12-step meetings.
Parenting and Family Support
For clients balancing recovery and caregiving, the center integrates parenting education, case management, and family counseling into treatment. These services promote child well-being and family reunification when needed, while helping mothers strengthen household management and parenting skills. Fathers in the men’s residential program also receive encouragement to deepen their relationships with their children, though children do not reside on site.
Daily Structure and Community Connections
Clients typically stay at the center for about 90 days, with schedules built around meals, counseling, groups, and recovery-focused activities. As clients progress, they have the opportunity to participate in group outings. The center works with community partners to expand support such as health care, exercise programs, diaper supplies for families, and housing referrals. This network helps individuals prepare for life after treatment and maintain stability.
Access and Practical Services
Cell phones, while turned in at admission, may be used with counselor approval. Transportation assistance helps patients attend essential appointments, and sign language services are available for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. By centering care on both gender-specific needs and family support, the center offers clients the tools to heal while building stronger family connections. For mothers, the ability to recover while caring for their children provides a safe path toward long-term recovery.
