Medically Monitored, Evidence-Based Care

NUWAY II offers medium-intensity residential treatment for adults identifying as male who are working to overcome substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. The program provides on-site nursing, 24-hour supervision, and individualized care in a medically monitored, community-based setting. Treatment draws on proven approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and 12-step facilitation, helping residents understand behavioral patterns, strengthen coping skills, and sustain progress after treatment.

Trauma-Informed and Inclusive Approach

Every NUWAY program is trauma-informed, addresses co-occurring disorders, and is LGBTQ+ friendly. The center’s clinicians recognize that trauma often underlies addiction, creating a space where residents can safely address emotional and psychological needs while developing healthier ways to navigate stress and relationships. The program’s inclusive culture ensures every resident feels respected and supported throughout their recovery process.

Recovery Skills and Community Integration

Residents at NUWAY II engage in services that extend beyond therapy, such as peer recovery coaching, self-help groups, and vocational or educational support, to promote self-sufficiency and purpose after treatment. Through structured daily programming and access to mentoring, residents learn to build stability and reintegrate into their communities with confidence and accountability.
