Women-Only Residential Care and Co-Occurring Support

EOSIS Tapestry is a women-only residential program in St. Paul, Minnesota, designed for those with substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. As a licensed co-occurring facility, it treats substance use and mental health concerns within one integrated plan, giving clients a focused space where peers share similar experiences and recovery goals.

High-Intensity and Low-Intensity Programs

The program offers both high- and low-intensity residential care. High-intensity treatment includes about 30 hours of clinical programming per week, while low-intensity care offers around 15 hours. Groups and individual sessions are typically about an hour long and are scheduled throughout the week so clients can settle into a predictable routine that keeps recovery at the center of daily life.

Trauma-Informed Therapy, Skills, and MAT

Clinical services include individual sessions with addiction and mental health counselors, along with group and educational therapy. Group topics may include life and communication skills, coping skills, trauma, mental health education, relapse prevention, anger management, spirituality, self-worth, and female-centered issues. Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills and other evidence-based approaches support emotional regulation. Medications for addiction treatment (MAT) can be used to ease withdrawal symptoms and cravings.

Accessible Setting and Practical Support

EOSIS Tapestry is housed in a handicapped-accessible building. Clients live in double- or triple-occupancy rooms within a structured environment. Healthy meals are prepared on site, with accommodations for dietary needs, and the facility provides essential hygiene items and on-site laundry. Limited device use is allowed later in treatment, and staff can coordinate non-emergency transportation to appointments.

Recreation, Community, and Family Involvement

Clients have access to a volleyball court, walking paths, bean bag toss, foosball, ping pong, games, fitness opportunities, and an outdoor lounge. Additional activities such as talent shows, arts and crafts, karaoke, and volunteering support social connection and community engagement. Family education groups help loved ones understand addiction, mental health, boundaries, and communication, and visiting hours give support networks ways to stay involved.

Planning for Life After Residential Treatment

From admission through discharge, staff focus on what comes next. Clients may transition to outpatient therapy or continuing care after leaving EOSIS Tapestry, and the team can connect them with community providers and aftercare options. This planning helps women leave with a clearer path for ongoing support, including mental health services, peer groups, and practical resources that can make it easier to maintain progress in everyday life.
