Women-Focused Care in a Supportive Environment
The long-term residential program is designed exclusively for women to create a recovery space without the pressures that mixed-gender environments may bring. This setting encourages open discussion and helps women build trust through sharing mutual experiences, especially important for women with trauma histories or caregiving responsibilities. The program offers therapeutic support for women with young children, such as rebuilding family relationships and managing the impact of addiction on parenting. Individual counseling, group therapy, peer mentorship, and a nurturing community help clients regain a sense of stability.
Targeted Treatment for Opioid Recovery
Treatment plans are built around the individual paths women take to recover from opioid addiction. The program blends medical care and therapy to address both the physical grip of opioid use and its deeper emotional and behavioral roots. Medications for addiction treatment (MAT) include on-site Suboxone and methadone coordination. This helps women manage cravings and withdrawal so they can engage fully in therapy. Counselors adapt care plans based on each woman’s history and prior treatment experiences, ensuring that every aspect aligns with their recovery goals.
Trauma-Informed Healing
Many women entering treatment have experienced trauma The program is designed with this in mind, offering an environment that prioritizes emotional safety and personal empowerment. Staff are trained in trauma-informed approaches to help clients process past experiences without judgment or re-traumatization. Peer connections are central to the recovery experience, as these help to reduce isolation, reinforce accountability, and create a sense of belonging that many women, especially those with fractured support systems, find essential to sustained recovery. Treatment is also provided for women with co-occurring mental health conditions.
Aftercare Plans Including Housing Assistance
The center emphasizes strong discharge planning. Each client works with a case manager to develop an aftercare plan adapted to their specific needs. Plans may include sober living arrangements, continued access to MAT, and local recovery meetings including Narcotics Anonymous (NA). For women with young children, case management can also assist with navigating housing options, court requirements, and reunification efforts. Staff help clients connect with community resources like parenting support, healthcare providers, and social services so they can rebuild a stable, healthy life for themselves and their families.
