Northland Recovery Center – Women’s Center provides women-only residential treatment, designed to be flexible and confidential, with an emphasis on helping clients stay connected to children, family, and community support while receiving care. Small-Facility Comforts That Support Daily Routine

The Women’s Center offers shared-room living, air-conditioned spaces, and no-cost laundry services. Clients can use an outdoor patio area where smoking is permitted in a designated area. The program also includes scheduled visits to the YMCA, supporting healthy routines during treatment. Vaping is not permitted on the property.

Trauma-Informed Counseling With Practical, Evidence-Based Support

Treatment includes individual, group, and family counseling, along with approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and 12-step facilitation. Trauma-related counseling is available, including support for women who have experienced sexual abuse, intimate partner violence, or other trauma. The program also provides education on substance use and health topics, including smoking and tobacco cessation counseling.

Wraparound Case Management And Recovery Supports

Beyond therapy, the Women’s Center provides case management, peer support, and self-help groups. Clients can also access housing services and help navigating social services. Discharge planning is also part of the transition process.

Medical Coordination And Admission Support

The program can admit clients directly from hospitals or detox facilities, and staff help families navigate assessments, referrals, and approval processes for coverage or public funding. Basic on-site primary care is available, with emergency and specialty care provided through local providers when needed. Clients who use medications for addiction treatment (MAT) are also accepted when those medications are prescribed elsewhere.
