A Recovery Space Designed for Women with Trauma
This is a dedicated space for women recovering from substance use disorders, with particular care for those who have experienced trauma or instability. The facility emphasizes safety, dignity, and emotional support—crucial elements for building trust and allowing clients to engage meaningfully in treatment. Women are encouraged to revisit difficult personal experiences in a nonjudgmental setting where they are supported by a team that understands how trauma impacts recovery. This environment helps create the stability and sense of agency women need to start fresh and sustain progress.
Developing Skills to Empower Independent Living
Treatment incorporates skills-building and coaching that directly support day-to-day life after treatment. Clients work with staff on social functioning, emotional regulation, and navigating community resources. Programs in independent living and life skills offer guidance in managing finances, setting goals, and following through on responsibilities. These practical skills help prevent relapse and promote stability, empowering women to rebuild their lives after trauma and substance use.
Counseling for Real-Life Substance Use Recovery
Individual and group counseling help clients examine how their experiences, behaviors, and beliefs relate to substance use. Clients are supported in setting recovery goals and identifying what they want to change in their lives. Medication education is also a key part of treatment, giving clients tools to make informed decisions and reduce risks related to substance use. Onsite classes in anger management and substance education help clients manage triggers and develop healthier coping strategies—building the foundation for meaningful, sustained recovery.
