Practical Dual-Diagnosis Treatment
The center focuses on helping clients rebuild stability through structured treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns. This includes people recovering from methamphetamine and other stimulants. The program blends individual therapy, group sessions, and 12-step meetings with evidence-based practices. Staff emphasize practical skills and consistency, supporting clients as they learn new ways of handling stress, cravings, and responsibilities both during and after treatment.
Medical Detox and Residential Care
The facility operates a dedicated detox unit staffed 24/7. Clients receive continuous nursing care, with medications for addiction treatment (MAT) used when appropriate to manage withdrawal symptoms and discomfort. Detox typically lasts from one to five days, depending on the type and severity of substance use. After completing detox, clients transition into a residential program that balances counseling, education, and activities. Clients share responsibilities including cooking meals and completing other day-to-day tasks.
Case Management and Recovery Services
Case management is provided to assist clients with securing housing, food resources, and legal support, as well as connecting them to GED courses or employment training opportunities as needed. Clients can also be referred to outside Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings after 14 days, reinforcing connections to sober communities. Transportation assistance makes it easier for people from surrounding rural areas to access services and follow-up care. Weekly family education groups are held to teach loved ones practical strategies to support recovery.
Medical and Wellness Support
In addition to addiction treatment, the center offers a wide range of medical services to address physical health. Clients have access to primary care, psychiatric support, and routine health screenings. Vaccinations for hepatitis A and B are available, along with education about preventing infectious disease. Clients also receive help with tobacco cessation, nicotine replacement, and mindfulness-based relapse prevention strategies. Education on naloxone use and overdose prevention is provided.
