Women-Centered Residential Treatment
The center’s residential recovery program is designed specifically for women, including those who are pregnant or parenting. Care begins with detox when needed and continues with evidence-based therapies and trauma-focused counseling. Women participate in individual, group, and family therapy while also building daily living and parenting skills. The program aims to help women find emotional healing, resilience, and practical stability.
Keeping Families Together
A defining feature of this program is its on-site, licensed childcare. Women can pursue treatment without the fear of being separated from their children. While mothers engage in recovery, children are cared for in a nurturing environment. Older children are able to attend school. Parenting support is provided by care staff. Pregnant women receive well-baby care and may return after delivery to continue treatment with their newborns.
Addressing Trauma and Co-Occurring Needs
The program offers targeted care for women managing both substance use and mental health challenges. Specialized groups and counseling address trauma, intimate partner violence, and co-occurring mental health conditions. Evidence-based approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, the Matrix Model, and 12-step facilitation. For women using medications for addiction treatment, (MAT) the center coordinates care with outside prescribers.
Building Long-Term Stability
Recovery is supported through services that reduce barriers to independence. Case managers assist with housing, employment, and education, while certified peer mentors with lived experience in long-term recovery offer guidance and encouragement. Transitional planning ensures women leave treatment with concrete support in place, including aftercare, overdose prevention education, and connections to community services.
Outpatient and Community-Based Services
In addition to residential care, the center provides outpatient programs for women who may not require 24-hour treatment or are stepping down from higher levels of care. Outpatient services include counseling, relapse prevention, and family involvement, with telehealth therapy options available. The center also participates in community outreach and offers transportation assistance.
