Specialized programming for young adults, LGBTQ+ clients, and Indigenous communities create affirming and empowering treatment plans for each person. From recognizing preferred names and pronouns to inclusive housing referrals, mentorship, and visits to Portland Pride, all individuals are welcome to recover with this facility. For Indigenous clients, cultural practices, like smudging, drumming, and group healing, are integrated into treatment plans.

Flexible Programming That Reflects Real Life Needs

Treatment programs are designed to help clients navigate this phase of their life and their recovery. For those balancing treatment with school, work, and other responsibilities, flexible and evening sessions make recovery more accessible. The professional track in particular offers support for managing career pressures with recovery.

Exploring Portland Alongside Recovery

Clients can participate in recovery yoga, art therapy, music therapy, mindfulness-centered groups, and nutrition and wellness education. Whereas weekly off-site activities support physical wellbeing and peer engagement outside of the treatment center. These include hiking, kayaking, fishing, visiting Portland’s famous Powell’s Books, and attending local picnics and events like the Portland Walk for Recovery.

Engaging Family with Sensitivity

This facility provides services to help families stay connected and informed throughout a client’s treatment. With client permission, weekly progress updates are shared with family members. The center also offers family therapy sessions to improve communication and relationships, as well as twice-monthly support groups for loved ones.
