Chrysalis Center provides residential substance use treatment for women, including those who are pregnant or parenting children up to age 10. The facility allows mothers to bring their children, with on-site licensed daycare for those under five. Treatment includes trauma-informed care, individual and group counseling, and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). Residents receive life skills training, parenting classes, and structured support in a private, family-focused setting.

Housing & Privacy:

Family Visitation:

  • Allowed every other Sunday after the first two weeks; no visitation on the fifth Sunday of the month.

Communication:

  • Two personal phone calls allowed per week after the first two weeks.

Daily Living & Responsibilities:

  • Residents assist with meal preparation, weekly chores, and community responsibilities.
  • Women babysit for each other when daycare is closed unless medically excused.

Additional Amenities:

  • Fitness room available for resident use.
  • Library on-site for reading and study.

Substance Abuse & Mental Health Treatment:

  • Individual and group therapy.
  • Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) focusing on safety, trust, choice, collaboration, and empowerment.
  • Parenting classes & life skills training.
  • Crisis counseling and peer support.

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT):

  • Suboxone, Subutex, and Vivitrol for opioid use disorder.

Opioid Education & Narcan Distribution:

  • Education on opioid overdose prevention.
  • Assistance with obtaining Narcan for those without Medicaid/private insurance.

Medical & Psychiatric Services:

  • On-site access to medical assessments and psychotropic medication management.

  • Must complete medical detox before admission (if needed).
