Support Through Every Step of Recovery
Treatment utilizes a whole-person approach with treatment and care available through detox, residential, and outpatient services, and even optional sober living for extended support. This approach extends to holistic therapies—like yoga, acupuncture, equine therapy, and art therapy—and support for returning to work after treatment.
12-Step Foundation and Family Involvement
Programs feature onsite 12-step meetings including Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA), strong peer support, mentorship, and an emphasis on mutual accountability. Family participation and connection are woven into care plans. Loved ones are encouraged to join clients in family and couples counseling sessions. During inpatient treatment, clients can talk to their loved ones as often as needed with the approval of their personal counselor.
Comprehensive Aftercare Planning
From the beginning of treatment, the staff creates aftercare plans adapted to each client’s needs. These include finding a primary care doctor and therapist, connection with local 12-step and other community support groups, and help securing housing as needed. Employment guidance is also provided, including assistance with resumes, applications, and preparation for reentering the workforce.
Thriving Alumni Community
After discharge, clients are encouraged to become part of an active alumni network. This offers a way to form lasting friendships and find mutual support. Alumni organize frequent events and recreational outings and participate in weekly group meetings, either in person or online. An online network where members can chat with each other is also available. Counselors regularly check in on clients’ progress to see how they are doing and provide additional guidance.
