A Connecting Pointe specializes in helping individuals who are navigating legal obligations tied to substance use, as well as trauma or behavioral issues. The center offers a wide range of court-approved services, including alcohol and drug evaluations, Batterer’s Intervention Treatment, anger management, and Alcohol and Drug Information School (ADIS). These services are designed to meet legal requirements while addressing the root causes of harmful behaviors. Programs are available in both English and Spanish, making them accessible to a wider range of clients in the Olathe area.

Structured Outpatient and Virtual Options

Treatment is offered through several outpatient pathways, including traditional outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), and a fully remote virtual IOP. The virtual IOP meets three times per week, with sessions scheduled to accommodate evening and weekend availability. Each program includes individual therapy, group sessions, and relapse prevention education. This flexibility allows clients to maintain work, parenting, or probation commitments while engaging in meaningful treatment and recovery planning.

These include court-ordered theft prevention, ADIS, and anger management classes. Individual, group, family, and couples counseling are also available, helping clients repair relationships and build healthy communication patterns. Life skills development is integrated into programming, with an emphasis on managing stress, navigating responsibilities, and reducing the risk of relapse.

Accessible, Practical, and Personalized Care

To reduce common barriers to participation, the center offers transportation assistance and a sliding fee scale. Clients using medications for addiction treatment (MAT) prescribed elsewhere are supported as part of their recovery plan. For those on probation or diversion, the facility provides structured progress monitoring, including regular reporting to courts or legal representatives. A Connecting Pointe emphasizes a practical, client-centered approach, meeting people where they are and offering tools that help them move forward with stability and purpose.
