A Home-Like Residential Setting for Mothers and Children

Infinity House is a 4–6 month residential program in Bangor designed specifically for pregnant and parenting women with children ages 0–5. It provides an intimate, home-like environment where mothers can focus on recovery without being separated from their young children.

Integrated Counseling and Recovery Supports

The program combines individual and group counseling, psychiatric care for co-occurring conditions, and a peer-supported community. Core groups cover relapse prevention, early recovery skills, women’s support, parenting education, and life skills. Residents are encouraged to participate in twelve-step or other recovery programs, and the facility accepts those using medications for addiction treatment (MAT) prescribed elsewhere.

Parenting, Daily Living, and Child-Friendly Care

Residents have access to childcare and dedicated beds for their children, while workshops strengthen parenting skills and family health. Daily routines, such as cooking, cleaning, and time management, are built into the program, helping mothers practice independence while maintaining structure for their children.

Community Connections and Long-Term Stability

An Integration Specialist and Client Care Coordinator link each resident to community resources that extend support beyond treatment. Partnerships provide domestic violence services, parenting classes, transportation, peer recovery networks, GED preparation, and job readiness training. Discharge planning, naloxone education, and aftercare follow-up ensure that mothers leave with both recovery skills and practical tools for stable, independent living. Smoking is permitted in designated areas, and vaping is not permitted.
