Addiction treatment with specialized support for opioid use disorder
This center offers treatment for drug, alcohol, and prescription drug addiction with specialized support for opioid use disorder. Three options for MAT are available: methadone, buprenorphine/Suboxone, and naltrexone/Vivitrol. In addition to medication, clients also participate in counseling and can receive other medical support to help manage withdrawal symptoms and cravings.
Practical intake process to help clients get started
Clients can call to make an appointment or walk in at any time during designated intake hours, and the facility accommodates same-day enrollment. Intake includes paperwork, a health history, and a number of tests, such as bloodwork, a urinalysis, an EKG, and a TB test. The clinical team uses this information to develop a treatment and medication plan. Care plans can combine medication with counseling and ongoing medical support.
Integrated therapy
While medication is a key part of this program, it is not a standalone intervention. Programming also includes individual counseling, where clients can address their emotional challenges and improve coping skills. Clients typically attend their first therapy session within 14 days of entering the program. Group therapy is also offered as a way to build connections with peers and establish a support community.
An intensive outpatient program (IOP)
Clients can also attend the facility’s IOP, which provides additional support while continuing to live at home and manage school, work, or family responsibilities. The IOP combines counseling and MAT, with sessions provided on a regular weekly schedule.
