LGBTQ+ and Identity-Safe Care

Every aspect of care reflects an understanding of the cultural, emotional, and social challenges that can accompany recovery in the LGBTQ+ community. Clients participate in group and individual therapy within an environment that affirms gender identity and sexual orientation, helping them build self-acceptance and resilience. Dedicated groups such as TransWellness and specialized programming on sexual health provide opportunities to explore identity and recovery in a supportive, informed space.

Evidence-Based Addiction Care

The residential treatment program offers 24-hour care and structure to help clients focus on healing. Treatment plans are individualized and may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-related counseling, and relapse prevention. Clients meet regularly with licensed counselors to address substance use, co-occurring mental health conditions, and the social pressures that affect LGBTQ+ wellbeing. Step-down options provide flexibility for those transitioning back into daily life. Both levels of care use evidence-based approaches and can incorporate medications for addiction treatment (MAT) when clinically appropriate.

Building Life Skill and A Community of Support

Clients engage in therapies that address trauma, grief, sexual health, and body image. Creative and experiential modalities such as expressive arts, equine-assisted activities, and meditation help clients process emotions in non-traditional ways. Life-skills workshops and case management support independent living and long-term stability. The alumnx program connects graduates through reunions, sober events, and mentorship, fostering a lasting network of LGBTQ+ peers who understand the challenges of recovery.

Tranquil Setting to Focus on Healing

The Eden Prairie campus is located on five wooded acres with a nearby creek, offering a private and peaceful environment for reflection and renewal. The facility features comfortable living spaces with televisions, group therapy rooms, and landscaped outdoor areas with benches and a firepit courtyard. The natural surroundings and quiet atmosphere allow clients to focus fully on recovery while feeling safe and supported.
