Integrated Treatment With Clear Care Planning
Addictive Disease Services provides substance use treatment for adults through outpatient services and residential options. Care starts with screening and assessment, then clients are assigned to an appropriate level of care. Service planning begins at enrollment, and a complete treatment plan is approved by a clinical doctor within 30 days of admission. The program provides crisis intervention and structured counseling to support ongoing engagement in treatment.
12-Step–Informed Counseling and Relapse Prevention Skills
The program uses a holistic approach grounded in a 12-step model, with a focus on building recovery skills that reduce relapse risk. Services include individual counseling, family counseling and training, group counseling and training, and ongoing recovery support. The SA Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP) delivers substance use counseling and relapse prevention skills training, and Addictive Diseases Support Services (ADSS) adds continued counseling, skill-building discussions, and resource coordination. The program also provides treatment for co-occurring substance use and mental health needs.
Housing Support That Helps Build Stability
A core differentiator is the built-in housing pathway alongside treatment. The Hope House and Recovery House provide temporary housing to help remove substance use as a barrier to stability and support a return to the community. The Request for Work (RFW) Transitional Housing Program provides stable housing while clients work toward self-sufficiency through employment, vocation, and permanent housing. Addictive Diseases Transitional services link clients to permanent, stable housing and include participation in SAIOP for continuity of care.
Practical Supports That Reduce Common Barriers to Care
The program pairs clinical services with support that addresses everyday needs. Clients receive case management, peer support, help accessing social services, housing services, employment counseling or training, and follow-up support after discharge. The center also provides transportation assistance, integrated primary care services, child care for clients’ children, and domestic violence services. On-site amenities include air-conditioned rooms, private or shared room options, and designated areas for smoking and vaping, along with access to outdoor space, gardens, and nature.
