Residential Support for Women and Mothers

The center offers a comprehensive, trauma-informed residential program designed for adult women affected by substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. The facility provides specialized support for pregnant or postpartum women, including child care and residential beds for children, allowing mothers to remain close to their families during recovery. Services are gender-sensitive and culturally competent, ensuring a supportive, inclusive environment for healing.

Strengths-Based, Empowering Approach

Rather than focusing on deficits, the therapeutic model centers on building personal strengths. Group counseling sessions promote self-awareness and accountability, while individual, family, and couples counseling provide deeper insight into the roots of addiction. Clients are encouraged to take safe emotional risks and practice newly learned behaviors within a supportive peer setting, preparing them for life beyond treatment.

Comprehensive Aftercare Services and MAT Acceptance

To support long-term recovery, the center provides housing assistance, employment counseling, and connections to social services. Clients also receive health education and counseling to help quit smoking. Case management, mental health services, and recovery coaching ensure that treatment helps women rebuild life skills and stay connected to the recovery community. Monarch accepts clients using medications for addiction treatment (MAT) prescribed externally, including medications for alcohol and opioid use disorders.

Serving Vulnerable and Underserved Populations

Monarch’s programming is inclusive of older adults, veterans, members of military families, clients with HIV/AIDS, and individuals who have experienced domestic violence, sexual abuse, or other forms of trauma. Services are also available for clients involved in the criminal justice system. The facility offers screening, assessments, and interim care for those awaiting admission, as well as aftercare planning and follow-up support.
