Drug-Free Residential Model

Narconon Arrowhead offers a fully residential, non-medical approach to substance use treatment. The program refers to participants as “students,” reflecting its instructional focus. Care begins with supervised, drug-free withdrawal and continues with New Life Detoxification, a regimen of sauna, exercise, hydration, and nutrition designed to support physical stabilization without substitution medications.

Structured Phases and Life Skills

After withdrawal and detox, students complete course-based life skills training focused on communication, decision-making, personal responsibility, and relapse prevention. Individual and group counseling, recovery coaching, and health education help students practice new habits before discharge. Employment counseling or training is available to support return-to-work or school planning.

Lakeside Setting and Daily Living

Set near Lake Eufaula, the campus includes indoor lounges, classrooms, shared rooms (two beds per room), an indoor fitness area, and outdoor patios and walking paths. Daily routines include structured meals that align with general health and the detox phase. Smoking and vaping are not permitted. Transportation assistance is available, and staff can connect students with housing resources and social services during discharge planning.

Aftercare and Access

Aftercare is community- and relationship-based, with alumni engagement, reunions, open houses, and peer mentorship to help maintain connections post-discharge. The private, non-profit program accepts adults and young adults of all genders and notes private/self-pay options.
