This Lexington program combines outpatient substance use and mental health treatment with supportive sober living, giving clients a more structured option than outpatient care alone. Men and women live in separate shared homes designed to support safe, stable recovery while they participate in treatment. That combination of licensed outpatient services and recovery housing gives people space to stabilize, rebuild routines, and stay connected to care in a community focused on sober living.

A Phased Program Built for Stability and Independence

Primary Purpose Behavioral Health organizes care in phases that move from early stabilization to greater independence. The first phase centers on intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment and therapeutic rehabilitation for substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns, helping clients build coping skills, manage cravings, and establish healthier habits. Later phases shift toward employment readiness, community connection, relapse prevention, and reintegration, so treatment supports not just sobriety, but the day-to-day work of returning to independent living.

Therapy, Peer Support, and Medications for Addiction Treatment

Treatment includes intensive outpatient services, individual counseling, support groups, peer support, case management, and medication management. The program also offers dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) as part of its clinical approach. A registered nurse addresses medical needs and provides medications for addiction treatment (MAT) when appropriate, including medication support within a broader recovery plan that also addresses mental health. This mix of counseling, peer connection, and medical support gives clients several ways to stay engaged in care.

Practical Help for Life Beyond Treatment

Case management helps clients connect with community resources, while peer and community support services strengthen recovery networks and daily accountability. Transportation assistance supports access to care, and later phases include help with job readiness, employment planning, and the transition back into the community. For adults who need treatment, recovery housing, and hands-on support rebuilding work, structure, and independence, this program offers all three in one setting.
