A Full Range of Dedicated Treatment Levels
The hospital provides a full continuum of substance use, mental health, and dual-diagnosis care on one campus, making it easier for patients to move between levels of care as needed. These include medical detoxification, psychiatric stabilization, inpatient care, and outpatient services. Having all these options in one location can be particularly helpful to patients with complex needs, and helps assure continuity of medical and therapeutic services.
Specialized Care for Teenagers and Seniors
Along with care for adult patients, age-specific treatment programs are offered to better address the unique needs of teenagers and older adults. Teenagers between the ages of 12 to 17 with substance use disorders, mental health challenges, or a combination of both receive confidential care tailored to their developmental stage. Senior care takes age-related issues, both cognitive and physical, as well as medical histories, into account. Staff are trained in catering to the population they serve. Individual, group, and family therapy is provided for all age groups.
Aftercare Support and Discharge Planning
Starting early in the treatment process, staff assist patients with planning their next care steps. Depending on individual needs, these steps include naloxone overdose education, referrals to outside medical and psychological professionals, and help accessing peer support groups including Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA). Case managers are assigned to help patients with housing referrals, assistance with various community resources, and navigating social services.
Flexible Telehealth Services
Secure telehealth options are available for patients who may have difficulty attending in-person sessions. Through virtual platforms, patients can conveniently access therapy, medication management, and ongoing support from licensed staff. These services are available for teenagers, adults, and seniors, and can be a gamechanger for those who live a long distance from the hospital, have mobility issues, or are just more comfortable receiving care from home.
