Accessible Care and Priority Admissions

The center provides care designed to help adults stabilize, heal, and transition back into independent living. Located in Denver’s quiet Baker neighborhood, the campus includes three adjacent homes that provide a safe, gender-specific environment. Each client participates in individual and group therapy that integrates evidence-based practices with 12-step principles. The nonprofit’s mission centers on accessible and affordable care. Priority admissions are offered for populations including pregnant clients, those who use injectable substances, and veterans.

Residential Treatment: Intensive To Transitional

Residential care begins with a focused 28–29-day intensive phase that builds a daily recovery rhythm. Clients attend therapy groups seven days a week, meet weekly for individual counseling, share chores, and attend required support meetings. Afterward, the transitional residential phase extends structure while reintroducing independence for up to six months. Clients attend evening groups several nights a week, continue weekly individual counseling, and use daytime hours for work, school, volunteering, or community meetings. During this phase, personal devices are allowed during the day.

Flexible Outpatient Services

The center provides both intensive and traditional outpatient programs for individuals ready to continue their recovery while living at home. The intensive outpatient program (IOP) meets three evenings a week for 12 weeks, combining structured group therapy and individual counseling to reinforce coping skills and relapse prevention. The traditional outpatient program meets once weekly, providing consistent connection and accountability for those who have completed higher levels of care. Both options emphasize flexibility, allowing clients to maintain employment or school commitments while receiving ongoing therapeutic support.

Gender-Specific Sober Living

For clients seeking continued structure after completing residential treatment, the center offers sober living at the Gaylord Apartments. Each client lives in a single one-bedroom apartment, providing privacy within a recovery-focused community. A live-in property manager helps ensure the environment remains conducive to recovery. Eligibility requires completing at least 60 days in the transitional program and approval from the treatment team. Clients can stay up to nine months, using this time to stabilize their finances and strengthen recovery routines.
