Structured Schedules with Hands-On Care
- Mornings include time to wake up comfortably, eat breakfast, and meet with a member of the medical team before the nursing staff assesses withdrawal symptoms and administers prescribed medications.
- Morning group discussions are an opportunity to share emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual feelings and cover topics such as trust, relationships, self-esteem, life changes, and relapse prevention.
- Afternoons include family-style lunches and group therapy around topics like mindfulness, life skills, managing cravings, and coping strategies.
- Evenings provide time for recovery meetings (12-Step, SMART Recovery, and more), as well as time to unwind with peers or call family before checking in with medical and behavioral health team staff.
Engaging Staff
- 24/7 medical supervision and 3:1 staff to client ratio.
- Medical team leads medication management and is available as needed and urgently throughout the night, should issues arise.
- Group discussions are led by a licensed therapist or addiction counselor.
- Staff lead therapy treatments such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
- Close collaboration with clients to develop discharge plans.
Comfortable Accommodations
- Quiet double bedrooms with TVs and private bathrooms give clients the rest and space they need during detox.
- Maximum of 18 clients cared for at once maintains hands-on atmosphere and keeps low staff to client ratio.
- Common areas and ample quiet and green spaces for journaling, self-reflection, and relaxation.
- Chef-prepared meals.
- Cell phones are permitted to help clients maintain their independence.
