Trauma-Informed Treatment for Adolescents

Located in Orlando, Florida, Aspire Health Partners – Oasis offers residential treatment for adolescents ages 13–17 who are experiencing substance use, behavioral health disorders, or trauma, including sexual exploitation. The program supports teens who need more structured care than outpatient services can provide, especially when school disruption, emotional instability, or unsafe home environments are involved.

Integrated and Culturally Responsive Therapy

Oasis combines trauma-informed care with evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention. Treatment is grounded in a culturally responsive framework that addresses each teen’s background and lived experience. Medication support is available for those managing withdrawal symptoms or mental health conditions alongside substance use.

Education and Life Skills Development

Youth continue their academic progress through the Florida Virtual School FLEX program, with additional support available for GED completion. Life skills training, including communication, decision-making, and basic self-care, equips residents with essential tools to regain a sense of control and independence after treatment.

Experiential and Recreational Engagement

To encourage engagement and emotional regulation, Oasis incorporates experiential therapies like individual and team sports, off-campus therapeutic outings, and recreational activities. These experiences help residents practice relationship-building, resilience, and coping strategies in real-world environments.

Focus on Family Reconnection

Family participation is a central part of the recovery process. The program includes bonding activities, family counseling, and reunification support. Discharge planning begins early and includes coordination with continuing care providers and community-based services to ensure smoother reintegration and long-term support post-treatment.
