A direct path from withdrawal management into residential treatment
Sheridan Grove Recovery provides 24/7 medically supervised withdrawal management followed by a direct transition into residential addiction treatment. Detox typically lasts 10–14 days, after which clients generally spend 21–30 days in residential treatment, though longer stays are recommended when clinically appropriate. Residential care emphasizes individual and group therapy, life skills training, nutritional education, art therapy, and relapse prevention work. Clients also follow structured daily routines.
Treatment for substance use, trauma, and co-occurring mental health conditions
The facility uses a trauma-informed approach rather than treating substance use in isolation. Treatment is also offered for co-occurring mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, and sleep disorders. Depending on client needs, treatment may include psychiatric oversight, medication management, and individual sessions that address trauma, addiction triggers, and personal growth. MAT is also available when clinically appropriate and is paired with therapy and other types of structured support.
Policies aimed at making it easier to enter and stay in treatment
Admissions staff are available 24/7, 365 days a year, and same-day admissions are possible. The facility provides transportation assistance every day of the year, and visitation is allowed. Loved ones can bring snacks and drinks from home to provide clients with familiar comforts while living on site.
Aftercare planning
Throughout the program, clients learn tools they can continue to use after leaving the facility, such as practical skills for daily living and emotional regulation. Discharge planning can include personalized relapse prevention, community connections, and guidance or referrals to appropriate step-down services. The facility also offers continuing support in the form of peer connections, community resources, recovery coaching, and alumni gatherings.
