Medication-supported opioid treatment

Care directly supports clients working through opioid addiction, including fentanyl, heroin, oxycodone, hydrocodone, codeine, morphine, and tramadol. The care team helps determine which MAT medications are appropriate for each client. Medication is combined with outpatient counseling. Treatment progresses at an individual pace, with clients staying involved with decisions about their medication, recovery goals, and how long they remain in treatment. The facility encourages clients to involve outside providers in treatment planning and communication. This may support clients already receiving medical or mental health care elsewhere.

What to expect during treatment visits

After completing admission, clients use a self-service kiosk and biometric system that will direct them to any required daily tasks, which may include counseling, a medical follow-up, or a random urine drug screen. This system is intended to reduce waiting time and avoid long lines. Clients receive medications in individual dosing booths. They can speak with nursing staff and receive their medication privately.

Same-day admission and transfer options

Clients may be able to access same-day appointments. Calling the facility early may improve the likelihood of securing an appointment that day. Initial screening usually takes 10-15 minutes. Clients transferring from another treatment program should expect the admission process to take 2-3 hours. Guest dosing is available for up to 13 consecutive days, allowing them to continue receiving medication from this location while determining whether they want to permanently change facilities. There are no admission or transfer fees.

Counseling and practical support

Counseling is a part of treatment alongside medication management and may include individual, group, and family therapy sessions, along with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and available telehealth options. Practical support is available to help clients address barriers outside treatment, such as transportation, housing, and connections to social services. Aftercare and discharge planning are also available.
