Specialized Residential Care for Youth and Young Adults
YALE Academy LLC – Level II Residential Facility provides 24-hour care for adolescents ages 12 – 17 and young adults up to age 21. The program serves youth experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions in a stable, home-like setting designed to encourage healing and personal responsibility. The environment promotes safety, consistency, and emotional growth.
The Re-EDucation Model in Action
YALE Academy’s Re-EDucation model emphasizes experiential learning, helping clients develop emotional insight and healthy behaviors through daily structure and shared responsibility. Instead of focusing only on symptoms, this approach helps youth understand how their environment, relationships, and choices shape behavior. It supports lasting change by connecting therapeutic lessons to real-world applications, allowing clients to practice accountability and decision-making in a guided setting.
Integrated Clinical and Academic Support
Treatment combines evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed counseling, anger management, and motivational interviewing with academic instruction. Each client follows an individualized plan that aligns clinical care with education, ensuring continued progress in both areas. This integration prepares residents to return to their communities with stronger coping strategies, improved self-awareness, and renewed focus on academic and personal goals.
Family-Centered and Community-Focused Recovery
Family participation is central to YALE Academy’s approach. Parents and caregivers are engaged through counseling and discharge planning to strengthen communication and support continuity of care after program completion. The academy also connects clients to local self-help and community support networks to sustain recovery. Through this collaborative model, YALE Academy helps young people and their families rebuild trust, stability, and confidence for a successful future.
