Structured Residential Care in Carson City

Vitality Unlimited’s Carson City program offers up to 30 days of intensive residential treatment in a calm, clinical setting designed for focus and stability. Around-the-clock staff and medical support help clients manage early recovery safely while building healthy daily routines. Each week includes approximately 53 hours of therapy and skill development sessions. The nonprofit’s mission, to instill hope and restore wellness through compassionate care, guides the program’s structure and approach.

Medically Supported Withdrawal and MAT

The center provides on-site, clinically managed withdrawal management with continuous monitoring and medical oversight. Clients can receive medications for addiction treatment (MAT), including buprenorphine, naltrexone, and acamprosate, to ease symptoms and prevent relapse. Civil Protective Custody (CPC) is also available for individuals in crisis, ensuring safety during detoxification. The focus is on stabilization, education, and preparation for the next phase of care.

Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment

Vitality Unlimited treats substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions together, recognizing that recovery requires attention to both. Therapy combines individual counseling, group sessions, and trauma-informed care through curricula such as Living in Balance. Clients learn stress management, communication, and problem-solving skills while addressing anger, trauma, and family recovery dynamics in a supportive, structured environment.

Whole-Person Recovery and Life Stability

As part of its nonprofit mission, the facility integrates social support and life-building services into treatment. Clients receive targeted case management, peer mentoring, and access to housing and employment counseling to promote independence after discharge. Specialized programming supports young adults, women (including those pregnant or postpartum), veterans, active-duty military, and individuals with justice involvement or trauma histories. Amenities include shared rooms, a relaxation lounge, healthy meals, laundry facilities, a kitchenette, and personal storage, creating a safe, restorative environment for sustained recovery.
