Trillium Place – Community Crisis Center offers 24/7, walk-in mental health and substance use crisis care for adults and young adults. Through its signature program, The Living Room, individuals can access immediate, no-cost support from recovery specialists without an appointment. The center’s urban setting includes outdoor green spaces and gardens that offer a calm, restorative environment in the heart of the city.

Short-Stay Detox and Stabilization Services

The center provides short-term residential care and medically monitored detox for alcohol, opioids, stimulants, benzodiazepines, and other substances. Licensed medical staff oversee care to ensure safe withdrawal and stabilization before clients transition to the next level of treatment. Services emphasize safety, dignity, and timely connection to ongoing resources for those experiencing acute distress.

Dual-Focused Treatment for Mental Health and Substance Use

Trillium Place integrates care for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and trauma. Evidence-based therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and 12-step facilitation, are used to address each client’s needs. Medications for addiction treatment (MAT), such as buprenorphine and naltrexone, are available, supporting both medical and emotional recovery.

As part of the Carle Health network, the center works to make treatment accessible and equitable. It accepts a range of insurance plans and offers sliding-scale payment assistance. Clients can access transportation aid, housing and social service support, and aftercare planning. Sign language services are available for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
