Integrated Care for Co-Occurring Disorders

The program is designed specifically for women facing both substance use disorders and serious mental illness. Unlike programs that address these issues separately, the center provides simultaneous treatment for both. Care is overseen by licensed professionals including a psychiatrist, ensuring that both medical and therapeutic needs are addressed in real time. Stays can last up to three months depending on severity, giving women the time and structure they need to ease their symptoms and stabilize.

Medical Detox and Evidence-Based Therapy

Care begins with medically monitored detox when needed. Held in the residential withdrawal management unit, clients receive 24-hour care from doctors and nurses to manage symptoms safely. Medications for addiction treatment (MAT) can be administered as needed. Once women are stabilized, they can transition into residential care. Treatment includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to identify and change harmful thought patterns, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to build coping skills, and trauma-specific therapy for those with histories of violence or abuse. Group and individual sessions are balanced with family or couples therapy when appropriate.

Recovery Support and Primary Health Services

As part of the program, women can access primary care, support for chronic health conditions, and counseling to quit smoking or vaping if desired. Recovery support includes housing assistance, peer mentoring, and support for employment-related needs. Case managers are available to guide clients through legal, financial, or family-related challenges. Crisis intervention services are available for those in acute need. Peer recovery coaches maintain contact for up to a year, offering encouragement as women transition into long-term recovery.

Accessible, Affordable Treatment

Admissions are open 24/7, which can be crucial for clients in crisis. Assessments are available immediately with no waitlist, ensuring that women can begin care when they are ready. The program follows a mission-driven model that prioritizes service regardless of income, with flexible payment structures and a policy that no client is turned away even if they cannot pay. For women who may be facing unstable housing, legal pressures, or child custody concerns, this approach removes barriers that may otherwise prevent them from seeking treatment.
