Adapted Program Length

Unlike time-limited programs, the center tailors treatment duration to each client’s individual progress. Participants work with therapists to set personal goals, and once those goals are achieved, they can transition to a lower level of care. The program combines structure and flexibility, featuring daily schedules with group and individual therapy, case management, life skills training, recreation, and family seminars. Volunteer work and team-building exercises are held to reinforce accountability and connection. Completion of residential treatment is followed by participation in the outpatient program, ensuring continuous support during the transition back to independent living.

Gender-Responsive, Trauma-Informed Groups

The program combines evidence-based therapies with a focus on men’s unique recovery needs. Core approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), relapse prevention, and trauma-focused methods like the Sanctuary Model and Seeking Safety. Helping Men Recover, a gender-responsive curriculum, explores how male socialization, relationships, and spirituality influence healing. Group discussions provide a safe environment for addressing topics such as shame, anger, and emotional expression.

MAT and Health Services

Clients have access to medications for addiction treatment (MAT) as well as medications that support mental health stabilization. Onsite services include basic primary healthcare and wellness education. Help quitting smoking and vaping is available. Transportation assistance helps ensure clients can access needed appointments and resources. This integrated care model is designed to remove common barriers to participation.

Practical Housing, Work, and Community Support

The center emphasizes practical stability as part of treatment. Clients can receive assistance with housing, social services, employment readiness, and education. Life skills training teaches budgeting, communication, and conflict resolution. Peer mentorship is also provided. Structured aftercare services include discharge planning, naloxone and overdose prevention education, and follow-up support after treatment. Self-help groups and community partnerships expand clients’ recovery networks.

Alumni Program for Long-Term Connection

Graduates of the program, family members, and community supporters can stay engaged through regular volunteer work, social events, and recovery gatherings. Alumni often mentor current residents to help model life in recovery. The alumni association promotes continued growth, shared purpose, and accountability, helping participants stay connected to their recovery goals long after completing treatment.
