Meeting Young People Where They Are
This nonprofit program combines medical detox, long-term residential care, and transitional living to address substance use disorders alongside co-occurring mental health conditions, as well as the spectrum of ways they impact young people’s lives. Community engagement and volunteer opportunities encourage residents to connect with their purpose.
Empowering Confident and Independent Living After Treatment
In addition to therapy, residents work on completing high school or GED programs and can participate in job readiness and vocational training. The facility includes an on-site gym and trips to a local fitness center to help young people focus on healthier lifestyles. Daily life skills such as budgeting, cooking, and time management are built into the program, giving young people the tools they need to return to school, work, or family life with greater independence.
Housing Support for Youth Experiencing Homelessness
Beyond its treatment program, the nonprofit offers rental assistance and transitional housing for youth ages 17–24 who are experiencing homelessness. These services are paired with case management and support for substance use and mental health.
Blending Approaches to Treat Addiction and Mental Health Challenges
Treatment includes individual and group therapy and trauma-related counseling. Evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention are offered alongside 12-Step facilitation, when desired. Medications for addiction treatment (MAT) support withdrawal and further recovery planning.
