High Staff-to-Client Ratio for Maximum Individual Attention
Only 16 clients are admitted to the center at a time. This small group size helps to ensure each individual receives attentive, personalized care. With a high staff-to-client ratio, clients benefit from daily access to therapists, consistent support staff engagement, and real-time adjustments to treatment. Clients see a psychotherapist twice a week, engage in a trauma counseling session once a week, and speak with a substance use counselor once a week.
Focused Care for First Responders and Veterans
Specialized care is offered for veterans, active-duty military, and first responders, including firefighters, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), and law enforcement. These programs address complex issues like occupational trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and exploring the underlying causes of substance use. Treatment is delivered by staff experienced in trauma work, and addressed with an understanding of high-stress service careers.
A Wealth of Experiential and Holistic Therapy Options
Over 30 therapeutic methods are offered at the center. A few of these include somatic experiencing, a mind-body-centered way to help release trauma stored in the body, psychodrama to reenact and process unresolved experiences through theater, and breathwork to help regulate the nervous system. Brainspotting helps clients access deep emotional pain through eye positioning, while drum circles foster rhythmic emotional expression. These therapies help clients reconnect with their bodies and boost self-regulation skills.
Luxurious Amenities and Outdoor Recreational Activities
Clients stay in private rooms and have access to spacious common areas and upscale amenities. Onsite, clients enjoy chef-prepared meals, a fitness center with personal trainers, yoga, and meditation spaces. Off-site, clients can participate in hiking outings, ropes courses, and rock climbing. These experiential therapies are integrated into treatment plans, helping clients to reduce stress, build confidence, and reconnect with their bodies.
Client Reviews
Chateau Recovery’s reviews highlight its trauma-informed approach, meaningful emotional breakthroughs, and deep care from staff. Many clients, particularly veterans and first responders, credit the program with transforming their lives. A few reviewers raised concerns underscoring the importance of matching a program to individual needs. The overwhelming majority of feedback reflects trust in the facility’s comprehensive, human-centered model.
