Mother-child residential program

This specialized program is designed to keep mothers and children together while mothers receive treatment. Children from newborn to age 8 can join their mothers in the dedicated residential unit, which treats substance use and co-occurring mental health. Mothers participate in parenting classes, may join Wellbriety groups, are connected to a peer support network, and can receive assistance with family services when needed.

Substance use and mental health care

For clients who have co-occurring substance use and mental health needs, both can be treated together in an integrated manner. Individuals can also receive treatment for primary mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, or mood disorders. Programs include individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based methods. Medications for addiction treatment (MAT) can be prescribed to help ease withdrawal symptoms and cravings, and mental health medications can also be prescribed as appropriate.

Case management and practical support

Clients can receive guidance with a wide variety of day-to-day needs. Case managers can help connect clients to housing support, transportation, employment counseling, or assistance navigating social services. These services are all designed to help clients achieve long-term stability.

Crisis and community services

Individuals in crisis can walk into the center 24/7 and receive same-day assistance. Withdrawal management is provided in a supervised, non-hospital environment. A mobile crisis unit allows health professionals to reach clients around the community. Some services for children, adults, and adolescents can be delivered at clients’ homes, and others in schools. Clients of any age may be connected to primary health exams and coordination with medical providers.
