In Crisis?

Overview

Call207-230-6162 WebsiteVisit Website

Luxury, private-pay residential addiction treatment facility with on-site withdrawal management (detox) treating only 8–10 clients at a time. Treatment integrates evidence-based therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care, with holistic approaches such as meditation and art therapy. Wellness, movement, and recreation are incorporated into the daily schedule. An in-house chef prepares meals and accommodates dietary preferences. Small client numbers support individualized attention and privacy, and each client has a private bedroom and bathroom. Cell phones and laptops are allowed, and work meetings and business calls can be integrated into treatment.

Who is this facility a good fit for?

  • Best fit if: Adults looking for a highly personalized, luxury experience; private-pay clients who value privacy and individualized attention; professionals and executives who need flexibility to maintain work responsibilities during treatment.
  • Not a fit if: Individuals who want to pay using insurance; those who want a low-cost program; adults looking for a large peer community or high-energy environment.

What to expect

Developing your care plan

  • Assessment begins before admission: Clients receive a nursing assessment over the phone during the initial admissions process and a medical review to determine if detox is appropriate.
  • Neuropsychological assessment: When indicated, clients may receive a comprehensive neuropsychological assessment. This can help shape treatment by evaluating their cognitive strengths and challenges, learning styles, and abilities.
  • Treatment goals are established immediately: Goals are established at admission and revisited continuously throughout each client’s stay. Care planning is ongoing, and treatment evolves based on progress and changing client needs.
  • A collaborative process: Clients work with their team to create care plans and are involved from day one. Team members communicate regularly with one another about client progress and changing needs.

Who you will meet with

  • Individual therapist: Clients meet with their individual therapist up to five times a week.
  • Psychiatrist: Weekly sessions with a psychiatrist are integrated into treatment.
  • Physician and nurse practitioner: A functional medicine physician meets with each client every week, and a psychiatric nurse practitioner helps manage continuing care.
  • Nursing staff: Nurses provide coverage until midnight for clients in residential care and 24-hour monitoring during detox.

Typical schedule

  • Morning meetings and wellness: Treatment plans vary by individual, but morning routines typically include an off-campus AA meeting, intention-setting groups, and physical activity, such as personal training sessions, yoga, or independent exercise.
  • Late morning and afternoon therapy: Therapy sessions, appointments, and other programming typically take place during the late morning and afternoon. These can include individual sessions, group therapy sessions, medical appointments, art therapy, and nutrition programming.
  • Evening options and free time: Programming generally concludes at 8 p.m., though optional 12-Step meetings are available.

Living experiences and amenities

  • Luxury accommodations: The small residential environment allows for a quiet atmosphere. Specific accommodations include a private bedroom and private bath.
  • Outdoor recreation: Scheduled programming includes outdoor activities like hiking and walking. Weekend excursions are also offered, which may include kayaking, paddleboarding, or biking.
  • Use of electronics: Clients can generally use phones and laptops, though use is restricted during programming and therapy sessions and may be evaluated if problems arise.
  • Executive accommodations: Professionals balancing ongoing career responsibilities may incorporate work meetings and calls into treatment.
  • Family visitation: Families are permitted to visit after clients complete their first week in residential care. Visitation hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 12:30–4:30 p.m.

Aftercare

  • Individualized planning: Transition plans are developed throughout treatment, with planning beginning well before discharge based on the needs of each client.
  • Nationwide referrals: The facility assists with connecting clients to resources based on where they plan to live after treatment, with referrals coordinated nationwide.
  • Alumni program and follow-up support: An alumni program keeps clients connected after leaving the facility, and the team provides support during the critical first steps after completing treatment.
