Who is this facility a good fit for?
- Best fit if: Adults who want residential substance use treatment with a predictable daily routine; frequent group interaction and peer connection; treatment focused on practical recovery skills; want access to individual counseling in addition to groups; and need co-occurring mental health and substance use care.
- Not a fit if: Adults who want a luxury or amenity-heavy residential experience; need unrestricted visitation immediately after admission; and desire regular access to a personal phone, laptop, or other electronics.
What to expect
Developing your care plan
- Assessment and admission: During admission, clients undergo an initial assessment with staff that is sent to a medical doctor for final approval. Admission decisions include consideration of whether the program can meet the client's needs and take into account space and availability.
- Treatment planning: Individualized care plans take into account each client's history, health, goals, and support needs. Upon admission, clients are active participants in creating their care plans and take part in treatment decisions. Medical providers assess medication needs and prescribe when appropriate.
Who you will meet with
- Medical team: Nurses support clients with medical care and their day-to-day needs. Medical providers review clinical needs and manage medications when determined to be clinically appropriate.
- Case managers and peers: Case managers coordinate care and support after treatment. Clients will also interact with peers during group sessions and shared downtime.
Typical schedule
- Daily routine: Group programming usually begins around 9:30 a.m., and sessions usually last 45–60 minutes, with 30-minute breaks between groups and meals. Formal daytime programming usually ends around 4 p.m. and is followed by downtime when clients can read, play games, exercise, spend time outside, or interact with staff.
- Therapy and recovery support: Daily groups focus on coping skills, identifying triggers, and learning how to manage them without alcohol or drug use. Clients have access to regular individual counseling, with additional support available upon request. Care may also include evidence-based therapy, 12-step principles, life skills, vocational support, and peer accountability. Medications for addiction treatment (MAT) may be included when determined to be clinically appropriate. Clients have continued check-ins with their provider, and adjustments are made as a client's needs evolve throughout recovery.
- Family contact and visitation: During the first week, visitors are not permitted so that clients have the ability to settle into treatment, but phone contact is available. Regular visitation for families and loved ones takes place from 1–3 p.m. on Saturdays. If Saturday visitation doesn't work for a client's family, staff may accommodate another visitation day.
Living experiences and amenities
- Amenities and daily life: Clients stay in comfortable bedrooms, while the facility offers lounges, a small on-site gym, and quiet areas for prayer, meditation, or reflection. During downtime, clients can read, play indoor games, or use outdoor areas to decompress. Smoking is permitted. A shared phone is available in the day room. Clients can also elect to assist with meal preparation if they choose.
Aftercare
- Levels of care: Clients may access withdrawal management (detox), a partial hospitalization program (PHP), and intensive outpatient program (IOP) through their broader care plan.
- Discharge planning and ongoing support: Aftercare planning begins during admission when staff discuss clients' goals for care and identify continuing support needs. Prior to discharge, a formal plan is created, and staff help coordinate follow-up appointments. Continuing care may include referrals, relapse prevention planning, and continued support in addition to an alumni program.

View all facilities in FloridaHow we research treatment facilities
Across the site, our team has conducted over 1,000 pre-admissions calls to better understand the patient experience, interviewed facility clinical leaders, performed facility background checks, and compared our information against trusted public data sources.
Our research process begins with data from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), accrediting bodies including The Joint Commission and CARF, government licensing agencies, and other trusted sources. From there, our team conducts significant original research, including:
- Pre-admissions calls: We speak with admissions staff to get a candid picture of patient experience.
- Background checks: We review complaints from past clients, media reports, actions taken by accrediting bodies, and positive recognition from notable organizations.
- Clinical interviews: We have in-depth conversations with clinical leadership, often lasting up to one hour, that give us a better understanding of clinical care.
- Data partnerships: We ingest and analyze exclusive data that provides information about in-network insurance status, cost, and more.
Research varies by facility. Each facility profile shows which research steps we completed and when each step was last performed. Learn more about our research process and background checks.
How we evaluate treatment facilities
These data help us develop a Trust Score for each facility—a simple letter grade that helps you assess how much confidence to place in a facility based on the information available to us. Trust Score considers accreditation, operating history, notable recognition, and concerns identified during our background check. Our Trust Score is an objective rating that is never influenced by advertiser payment. Learn more about our Trust Score methodology.

A Trust Score is a starting point, not a guarantee of treatment quality or outcomes. Please contact us if you would like to update or correct facility information.
