Transitional Setting and Purpose
Situated near the Wasatch Mountains, Ascend Recovery – Eagle View offers a peaceful, restorative setting for clients progressing from residential treatment to greater independence. As Phase Two of Ascend’s continuum of care, Eagle View provides a 30–45 day Extended Care program designed to help clients apply the skills learned at the Lake House residential program while preparing for long-term recovery and everyday responsibilities.
Seamless Continuity of Care
Clients continue to work with their primary therapist from residential care, an approach that maintains therapeutic trust and consistency. This continuity allows clients to deepen personal insight and practice recovery skills in a less structured environment while receiving steady clinical and peer support. The program combines individual and group therapy with trauma-informed, cognitive behavioral (CBT), and experiential approaches that foster emotional growth and resilience.
Building Real-World Skills
Programming emphasizes executive functioning and daily life management, helping clients strengthen organization, accountability, and decision-making. Clients practice managing finances, maintaining employment or schooling, structuring time productively, and building sober social networks. These skills are developed in a supportive setting that mirrors real-world challenges, preparing clients for lasting independence beyond treatment.
Community, Structure, and Lifelong Support
During their stay, clients are expected to work or attend school, with staff assistance for job placement and educational enrollment. Peer connections are reinforced through group sessions and recovery-oriented activities, while transportation assistance ensures access to employment and services. After completing this phase, clients gain access to Ascend’s lifetime aftercare program, free of charge, including weekly alumni groups, ongoing check-ins, a year-long monitoring program, community events, and fitness sessions at a local recovery gym.
Guided by Core Values
Ascend Recovery’s work is grounded in authenticity, compassion, and clinical expertise. This philosophy informs every part of the Eagle View experience, blending evidence-based therapies with holistic elements such as yoga and experiential therapy. By nurturing both practical life skills and personal growth, Eagle View helps young adults and adults alike transition from structured treatment to confident, self-directed recovery.
