Northern Light Acadia Hospital is a 100-bed psychiatric facility offering mental health and addiction treatment for adults, adolescents, and children. Acadia reaches beyond hospital walls with behavioral health staff placed in local schools and primary care clinics. These services provide early intervention for children and adolescents, as well as easier access to ongoing care for families in rural or underserved areas. Clients can also use telehealth to connect with their care team from home.

Hospital-Level Services for Youth

As one of the few facilities in the region offering inpatient psychiatric care for children and teens, Acadia provides acute stabilization and developmentally appropriate programming. This includes group therapy, medication management, and individualized treatment planning designed to support youth with serious emotional and behavioral needs.
