Structured Residential and Outpatient Treatment

Weems LifeCare offers a 30-day residential program for adults recovering from substance use disorders, combining the 12-step framework with counseling, group therapy, and education on addiction and recovery. Clients may extend treatment up to 60 days while working during the day or participate in a 10-week intensive outpatient program (IOP) held after business hours. Each program emphasizes structure, accountability, and connection to community-based recovery networks.

Practical, Accessible, and Affordable Care

LifeCare focuses on affordability and access, offering an all-inclusive rate for the 30-day program that covers counseling, education, meals, medical screening, and recreational activities. Extended-care programs and vocational funding support may be available through the Mississippi Office of Vocational Rehabilitation. The facility is ADA-compliant and provides transportation assistance, ensuring access for clients across the region. Policies such as designated smoking areas and limited technology use help maintain focus and stability throughout treatment.

Integrated Support for Co-Occurring Needs

The center treats individuals with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders who are medically stable on prescribed medications. Treatment includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-related counseling alongside education in communication, self-esteem, and relapse prevention. HIV/TB screenings, health education, and twice-monthly family sessions are provided to strengthen overall wellness and support systems.

Extended Recovery and Community Integration

To promote sustained recovery, LifeCare offers free aftercare services for one to two years following program completion. Weekly group therapy, relapse prevention planning, and individual counseling sessions help clients maintain progress after discharge. Additional services, including vocational and educational support, peer mentoring, and housing assistance, support reintegration into daily life and ongoing connection to recovery communities.
