Following detox, clients can transition into outpatient or intensive outpatient (IOP) programs that fit around work, school, or family responsibilities. Youth services offer outpatient and group programs tailored for adolescents dealing with their own or a family member’s substance use or mental health challenges, ensuring care is accessible across ages and needs.

A defining feature of Turning Point is its Recovery Café, a welcoming space offering meals, structured peer circles, and life-skills classes through its School of Recovery. Through Rapid Access Services, the center helps individuals secure essentials such as IDs, housing information, clothing, hygiene supplies, and insurance enrollment support, removing practical barriers that often stand in the way of stability and long-term healing.

As a nonprofit and Federally Qualified Health Center, Turning Point ensures care is available to anyone in need. The Kokomo location accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and most commercial insurance, with a sliding fee scale based on income. Crisis intervention teams provide both onsite and mobile emergency response. Located on North Courtland Avenue, the facility offers a welcoming, community-based setting where individuals can begin recovery with dignity, belonging, and continuous support.
